To make shortening URLs with tny.im as easy as possible, we have rolled out some nice features, which we call goodies.
Bookmarklets
Bookmarkelts are things you drag to the favorites/bookmarks bar of your browser. When you want to shorten the URL of a certain web page, just press one of the tny.im bookmarklets to do it.
Prefix-n-Shorten
If you can't or don't want to add things to your bookmarks list, this is an alternative solution for the easy shortening of URLs. It requires a little bit more work but suits many situations.
API
If you happen to be a developer and you're looking for a way to integrate tny.im with your website or application, the tny.im API is right for you.
It is free to use and not only allows creating new shorten URLs, but also retrieve information about existing ones.
